Republic Square

Located at the convergence of Guadalupe Street, West 5th Street, San Antonio Street and West 4th Street, adjacent to the new Federal Courthouse, Republic Square is one of three remaining Downtown Historical Squares. The City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department (PARD), the Downtown Austin Alliance, the Austin Parks Foundation and a team of consultants are planning for the future of this important public space. JAS Irrigation Design has been brought onboard to provide irrigation design services for this project. The Republic Square Park will utilize rainwater collection as well as distributing the collected rainwater through a 100% drip system.
